Objective: Follows architectural and engineering drawing parameters and managerial direction for 3-D rendering creation using REVIT.

Key Responsibilities:
• Use BIM software to create 2-D and 3-D plans for projects
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on projects throughout the entirety of the design process for buildings in the multifamily residential, mixed use, commercial, and hospitality sector
• Determine the proper elements and scale for buildings
• Meet deadlines
• Communicate regularly on current project status and include management on project reviews for additional technical input/support

Mechanical HVAC Engineer

We are looking for Licensed Mechanical Engineer to join our team of professional design team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Initial client consultations -Visit site or meet virtually to consult directly with the client to determine the project needs associated with the building HVAC system, Energy management and mandatory compliances.
- Perform multiple consultations in Predesign and Schematic design phase with Clients and Project Architect to fully define client and project needs, and to obtain owner approvals on proposed HVAC systems prior to the design development commencement.
- Initial Site evaluation and investigations – Perform site inspection to record existing conditions of the building HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire protection systems and perform energy study where applicable.
- Identify and assess Mechanical Engineering scope of work associated with the new development or improvement project; Set budgets coordinate with Project Architect and Sales team to generate estimates and contracts.
- Identify codes applicable to the project scope and accordingly perform code research and analysis, and provide code compliant design solutions for HVAC systems for various projects (commercial, residential, new developments and existing building improvements)
- Identify Regulatory Agencies requirements applicable to project and consult with regulatory agencies regarding code interpretations if required.
- Prepare design calculations.
- Prepare HVAC system designs associated with the project.
- Perform Comcheck
- Assign, coordinate and oversee production of HVAC construction documents using Revit with drafting/modeling team to assure timely manner completion.
- Work closely with Project Architect and expediting/filling team members for timely manner execution of the project and associated Mechanical work approvals from regulatory agencies.
- Project Progress Team consultations – schedule internal and external team member review meetings to obtain design progress updates on project deliverables, and to assure timely manner design coordination with all disciplines involved in the project (A S M E P S)
- Project Progress Client consultations- provide Clients with updates on biweekly basis, and when required meet with them to discuss project progress, or to clear up any concerns that may arise during the MH design or construction process
- Manage both time schedules and project budgets on MH design work to ensure project profitability.
- Proactive ‘’potential issues and problem ‘’ identification and resolution; Perform independent, in-depth investigations of specific problems including architectural/engineering analysis and recommendations
- Prepare material specification documents; Develop and maintain project manual for certain projects
- Perform bidding phase professional and administrative services; Finalize and assemble Bid documents; Schedule Prebid walk thru, perform comprehensive Bid comparison, request revised bids, when applicable, and provide final recommendations to the Owners
- Create SIA inspection schedule associated with the Mechanical scope of work, schedule and attend preconstruction meeting with Mechanical contractor, inform them of required inspections, and any other construction phase requirements.
- Perform periodic site visits to projects under construction to monitor the quality of design and Mechanical work performed.
- Energy and Mechanical Special Inspection reports writing, and coordination with owner, Mechanical contractor, and other consultants involved in the project.
- Owner and Mechanical Contractor RFI review and response
- Develop and maintain all Construction Administration documentation pursuant to AIA regulations
- Attend meetings with the building manager and contractor to discuss the project issues and schedule pertaining to MH work
- Identify the change in both Contractor’s and Node’ s scope of work, and accordingly coordinate with client, sales and project team
- At ‘Substantial Completion’ work with the contractor to generate a punch list and oversee its execution, and with Node expediting team to assure timely manner sign off of the Mechanical work with authorities having jurisdiction.
- Perform commissioning upon work completion.
- Working closely with clients and stakeholders to create unique energy solutions for new developments or existing building system improvements.
- Design tailored approaches that correspond to the specific energy infrastructure.
- Gather and analyze energy bills to identify potential energy savings based on current energy rates and the building’s energy intensity
- Analyze mechanical/electrical/control drawings and perform site surveys to understand the operation of the building.
- Select equipment based on energy performance
- Work closely with Principal Architect and Sales Team on new projects and sales opportunities to assist in identification of scope of work
- Work closely with Business development team to assist in development of Energy management consulting department (LL84,LL87,LL97)

BIM Manager

Structural Engineer

· Coordinate with PM/PA all the FO, SOE and Structural requirements for the project
· Perform field surveys of planned construction sites to develop existing site analysis and pre-construction inspection reports

· Develop FO, SOE and Structural construction documents per Node and DOB Standards
· Oversee FO, SOE and Structural modeling staff, assure design development is progressing per allocated timeline and budgeted hours
· Oversee and communicate with filling representatives to assure all City agency filings of completed FO/SOE and Structural designs are submitted in timely manner, and all the changes in design are properly and in timely manner reflected at all FO/SOE and Structural associated documentation
· Provide all the information needed for DOB NOW FO/SOE and Structural applications, advising if any special regulation is applicable to project’s FO/SOE and Structural design
· Perform design quality control and clash detection between Structural and other engineering disciplines
· Provide Professional Engineer Stamp on Node FO,SOE and Structural drawings and applications
· Where required, submit provided design solutions to Senior Structural engineer for review and approval before design development commencement
· Serve as the main contact for the FOE/SOE and Structural design with all parties on the project
· Provide weekly updates to PM on the progress of FO/SOE and Structural designs and approvals.
· Update task progress /stage at project management platform and tag and notify billing department on weekly basis
· Oversee the budgeted hours for design are not exceeded
· Provide responses to the Owner’s and GC RFI promptly.
· Review and respond to Client or City agencies email inquiries every morning at log in and every night prior to sign off
· Upon approval issuance, together with filling representatives responsible for work permit issuance, coordinate smooth transition of FO/SOE and Structural work to timely manner permitted status and to construction commencement
· During Construction, perform construction site progress and special inspections, coordinate required design amendments to plans and documents and assure construction phase amendments and as builds are done promptly and in timely manner for CO, coordinate closely with modeling and filling team to assure timely manner execution
· Update Owner’s project team and Node project team of FO/SOE and Structural design progress and completion timeline.



Qualifications
3 years of engineering experience related to Foundation and Structural design
Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, communication and design skills
Must be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple projects
Ability to communicate as a valued team member with colleagues and clients at all levels
Ability to provide inspection reports in a timely manner
Reliable means of transportation and a valid driver’s license
Willingness to obtain ICC certifications
Work well with a team and individually

Visit Construction Sites to perform Special, Progress and Energy Inspections pursuant to inspections identified on TR1, TR8 documents and plans associated with the project

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Owner, Contractor, Owner consultants, and NODE team for TCO/CO timely manner approvals.

Obtain Temporary Certificate of Occupancy and Final Certificate of Occupancy for New Buildings and Alt1's;
Receive on site changes from Site technician and Project Manager, prepare and file amendments to schedule A, schedule B, and other applications associated with NB or Alt1 during construction phase and prior to TCO/CO;
Coordinate with Node team members on supporting applications sign offs required, assure completion in timely manner;
Prepare for and initiate meetings with Client team for TCO/CO requirements;
Research properties and prepare status letter's, breaking down what is required for a TCO/Final CO;
Prepare Special Inspections TR1, TR8 documents for TCOs, Final CO’s
Meetings with plan examiners for Post Approval and As Built amendments
Meeting with commissioners, deputy commissioners and public advocate at the NYC Dept of Buildings for reconsideration's and waivers;
Prepare individual checklists for each responsible party (GC, MEPS Subcontractors, Owner) , coordinate and assure compliance , print violations and filings, and obtain construction and sign off schedules;
Work with Node team and Client team to inform of any potential ‘obstacles’ for TCO/ CO, prepare a strategy for solution and assure compliance for timely manner CO issuance;
Communicate with Clients and team members regarding inspections and results;
Schedule as built walk through, and construction inspections and attend Client meetings;
Update all spreadsheets, tasks and lists on a daily basis and ensure all team members and Owners are fully informed
